Military Moms Preparing To Send Care Packages


Bond County Military Moms is seeking donations for the Christmas care packages it will be sending to military personnel from the county.

Dianah Kuhl-Troemel told WGEL donations can be dropped off at Adam Brothers Music & Coffeehouse on Second Street in Greenville through November 20. This year the public is invited to assemble the care packages on November 21 in the Bradford Community Room.

Cash donations are also accepted to help pay for expenses, including postage.

Kuhl-Troemel said items that can be donated for the packages are listed on the Military Moms Facebook page. Packaged snacks, gift items, personal hygiene items, small Bibles, and more are accepted.

This is the third year for the care packages program and Kuhl-Troemel said the number of packages this year will exceed last year’s 70.
