No Action Taken On Unit 2 Collective Bargaining

At Tuesday night’s special meeting of the Bond County Community Unit 2 board of education, one agenda item was possible consideration of a collective bargaining agreement.

The board held a brief executive session to discuss collective negotiating matters between the district and its employees or their representatives concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.

Following the executive session, no action was taken.

Board President Edmar Schreiber told WGEL that negotiations are continuing. The teachers and non-certified staff in Unit 2 are currently working without contracts.
