St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese is offering several health fairs this fall. Remaining dates include Wednesday, October 7, in the Germantown American Legion, Tuesday, October 20, in the Carlyle Knights of Columbus Hall, and Wednesday, November 4, in the Trenton First United Methodist Church. The hours are 6:00 – 10:00 a.m. and each fair will offer the same screenings.
Leading the list of screenings is a comprehensive blood test with a 10-hour fast for $35.00 and a men’s prostate specific antigen, or PSA, screening for $10.00. Other screenings include Hemoglobin A1C for $10.00, a Vitamin D for $15.00, and a bone density heel screening for $5.00. Tests offered at no charge include blood pressure, diabetes finger sticks, body composition, and pulmonary function. Flu shots will also be available.
