Since May, Hospital Sisters Health System has provided an app to connect patients with providers using today’s technology.
The service is available 24 hours a day and the fee is $29, payable by credit, debit or “Benny” cards.
Jeaneen Gesell, project manager, told WGEL Anytime Care allows a patient to receive care through a mobile device, such as a phone or iPad, or even a computer. The physician evaluates, diagnoses, and treats you virtually.

Anytime Care is not for emergency situations. Gesell said there are still many uses for the program, including the flu, sinusitis, urinary tract infections, and pink eye. Patients will receive a diagnosis and treatment plan including a prescription.
