Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will waive day use fees for veterans, active and reserve component service members and their families at Carlyle Lake and more than 2,800 other recreation areas nationwide.
The waiver requires only verbal confirmation of service and covers fees for boat launch ramps and swimming beaches. It does not apply to camping and camping-related services or fees for shelters.
