Come Home For Christmas Saturday, November 28

The annual Come Home For Christmas celebration will kick off the local Christmas season Saturday evening.

Hours will be 5 to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Greenville. The event is sponsored by the Greenville Business and Professional Association.

Santa Claus and Mrs. Santa will arrive at the courthouse at 5:30 p.m. for the countdown to turn on the lights on the big Christmas tree and the courthouse building.

Prior to that, the Greenville High School select chorus will sing Christmas carols.

A toy train display will be set up at the First United Methodist Church. Downtown business windows will be decorated for a contest to be judged by Miss Bond County Fair Kayley Woker and Junior Miss Brianna Ulmer.

Crafts will be available for children and downtown stores will have sales and specials.

Food will be available.
