County Board Approves Road Use Agreement For Dakota Access Pipeline

The Bond County Board met in regular session Tuesday evening and approved a road use agreement with Dakota Access for pipeline construction, expected to begin after the New Year. The agreement calls for Dakota Access to handle any maintenance and repairs during construction to bring affected roads back to the condition they were in prior to the pipeline project.

The board approved three ordinances pertaining to the Special Service District, which provides ambulance service for Bond County through Greenville Regional Hospital.

The board recessed the meeting following an executive session and announced they will finalize the county’s 2016 budget in a special meeting Tuesday, November 24 at 8:00 a.m.
