Enjoy An 1800’s Christmas At Hills Fort At The American Farm Heritage Museum

The Christmas Lights Wonderland at the American Farm Heritage Museum opened Friday.

It can be visited through December 31st. Hours each day are 5 to 9 p.m.

The Lil’ Red Barn museum will be open with refreshments. Santa Claus will be there Fridays and Saturdays.

About 45 lighted, animated displays are part of the Christmas Wonderland…

Visitors can ride the Farm Museum’s train, known as the Polar Express, for $2 per trip. It is available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 9 p.m., weather permitting.

The replica of Hill’s Fort is decorated for the holiday season and visitors can drop by the large cabin.

Bill Johnson, from the society, told WGEL organizers have tried to replicate holiday decorations from the early 1800’s.
