Greenville FFA & Bond County 4-H Harvest Donations For Food Pantry

The Greenville FFA and Bond County 4-H conducted a “Harvesting For the Food Pantry” cookout on the Thrift Shop parking lot last Saturday. Wes Pourchot was the cook and customers were able to get a meal for either a cash donation to the Bond County Food Pantry or a contribution of four non-perishable food items, which also benefitted the pantry.

Grenville FFA Advisor Steve Zimmerman told WGEL the group collected 431 canned goods and $1,152 in donations. Approximately 30 4-H and FFA Members along with parents and volunteers helped on Saturday.
