Greenville Regional Hospital To Offer “3-D” Mammography

When it comes to breast cancer, early detection is the most effective tool for increasing survival rates.

Greenville Regional Hospital will soon offer a three-dimensional imaging solution to help physicians better screen and diagnose breast cancer with low-dose x-ray.

Chief Nursing Officer Tammy Lett said, “This technology will allow physicians to see a much higher quality image of breast tissue, reducing blur from movement and increasing image sharpness.”

Greenville Regional Hospital will have this technology installed in early December.

Area women may schedule an appointment now by calling 690-3555.
