The Greenville High School Marching Comets will once again be in the Thanksgiving Day parade in St. Louis on Thursday.

Band Director Ryan Thomason said the parade will begin at 8:40 a.m. and will be televised on St. Louis station KMOV. The Marching Comets will be toward the front of the parade, the third band in it.

Thomason said bands in the parade collect blankets, to be given to the homeless and needy, and local residents can be part of the drive. Last year the band donated 300 blankets.
