Mulberry Grove School Board Approves Tentative Tax Levy

At a Tax Levy Hearing Monday, at 6:45 p.m., Mulberry Grove School Superintendent Brad Turner presented tax levy information to the school board and recommended a tax levy of 4%. The board approved a tentative tax levy of 4% which means approximately $1,282,189.00 for the district.

In the financial report, Superintendent Turner said the district is still waiting on the last installment of property tax money which he expects to receive by the end of November. General state aid is coming in on time but there have been no categorical state aid payments for transportation and special education.
