The sights and sounds of Christmas wouldn’t be the same without the bells and red kettles of the local Salvation Army bell ringing campaign. That program will kick off in Greenville on Monday, November 23 and continue through Christmas.
Local collection points will include Capri IGA, Dollar General, and Buchheit. Volunteers will be posted at the entrance of the stores from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day.
The campaign is in need of volunteers to ring the bells at each station. To sign up, call Wayne Pierce at 664-3434.
The Greenville Lions Club will man donation kettles at the entrances to the upcoming Greenville Regional Hospital Auxiliary Holiday Bazaar.
On Saturday, December 12, Capri IGA will match donations collected at their store up to $1,000.
Donations can also be sent to Treasurer Frank Joy at Bradford National Bank in Greenville.
