A Bond County Deputy and Highland EMS responded Tuesday, November 10, at 6:16 p.m., to a one-car accident on Pokey Road. According to the accident report, Rich W. Reeves, age 39, of Greenville, was southbound on Pokey Road and lost control of his Chevrolet Cruize at the intersection of Rt. 143. The car ran off the road, hit an embankment, and traveled down the west ditch. Highland EMS took Reeves to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland.
