St. Nicholas Church Sponsors Blood Drive

The St. Nicholas Church in Pocahontas sponsored an American Red Cross blood drive Tuesday.

Thirty people registered with 25 units collected. The Red Cross goal was 24 units.

Lowell Wellen received a 13-gallon pin, Jack Stewart an 8-gallon pin, Norman Calvin a 5-gallon pin, Dennis Thacker a 4-gallon pin, and Randi Smith a 1-gallon pin. Brandon King got a blood drop pin as a first-time donor.
