Vehicles collided about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on Route 127 in front of McDonald’s and CC Food Mart.
Greenville Police reported one driver and a passenger received injuries.
Stephen Donaldson, age 76, of Greenville, was taken by a family member to Greenville Regional Hospital, and Agnes Meyer, age 83, of rural Smithboro, was transported by Bond County Emergency Medical Services ambulance to the hospital.
Police reported both were treated and released.
Donaldson was driving a Ford Escape, and Meyer was a passenger in a car operated by Rachel Brewer of rural Smithboro.
Police indicated Donaldson was southbound on Rt. 127 and was turning left into McDonald’s. Brewer exited CC Food Mart.
According to Donaldson, his vision was obscured by bright sunshine, he did not see the other unit and the collision occurred.
Damage to the front of both vehicles was over $1,500.
