Sixty local veterans attended Tuesday morning’s Veterans Day program at Greenville High School.
Each year since 2005 the students and staff at the school have presented the solemn service, to honor veterans.
Students spoke and the band and chorus performed. Jennifer Dannaman, teacher at the school, welcomed the veterans, who sat as a group on the gym floor and later in the program introduced themselves. She praised the students and welcomed the veterans.
