Greenville City Council Grants Raises For Non-Represented Employees

Following an executive session, the Greenville City Council approved a motion to grant pay raises to non-represented employees.

The average increase was about 2.8 percent for the 25 to 30 employees including part-time police officers, part-time police dispatchers, lake patrol personnel, department heads, and secretaries.

The council granted a 5.1 percent increase to Sue Ann Nelson, city clerk and finance director. She receives an additional $3,700.

No action was taken by the council on City Manager Dave Willey’s salary. Councilmen plan to do an evaluation and address that salary at a later date.
