Grzywacz Family Overwhelmed With Assistance Following Fire

The community response to assist the Mike and Annette Grzywacz family has been overwhelming, according to Frank Snyder, who spearheaded a drive to assist the family of six.

A fire, last Friday night, destroyed the Grzywacz home and belongings.

Snyder, who owns Frank Snyder Financial, told WGEL the family is now past the emergency period and is grateful for the generosity of the community.

Snyder said the family had good insurance that will cover the loss of the house and contents.

He added the Grzywacz family has located a partially furnished home to rent in Greenville and will move in Wednesday.

Snyder said anyone wanting to donate Christmas gifts for the children can drop them off at his office at 1000 East Harris Avenue in Greenville.

Mike and Annette have four children; three sons, ages 5, 13 and 15, and a 16-year-old daughter.
