Library To Host Open House Saturday


The Greenville Public Library is holding an open house Saturday afternoon.

Library Director Mike Westbrooks invites everyone to the event between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. The open house will include a presentation on the new roof and cupola on the library as well as additional information about library history.

The historic Carnegie Library in Greenville is 110 years old. Westbrooks said dedicated board members over the years have made sure it remains usable for a library.

Once again, the open house is Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. The library is located at the intersection of Main Avenue and Fourth Street.
