The Greenville Board of Police commissioners has completed its work to develop a new police eligibility list.
The six men on the list are Austin Sebastian of Maryville, Grant Huegen of Greenville, Bryan Waugh of Granite City, Caleb Walton of Vandalia, Roger Snow of New Douglas and Brandon Ramsour of Centralia.
The list is based on results of the mandatory orientation, physical agility test, written examination, preference points, if earned and requested, and an oral interview by the police commissioners.
The list will be in existence for two years.
Greenville Chief of Police Lou Lorton said Austin Sebastian has been offered a full-time police officer position and will be sworn in in early January. Sebastian has his police academy training and qualifications. He has been working part-time with the Greenville Police Department.
Chief Lorton said once Sebastian is sworn in, he will enter the local field training program.
Sebastian will replace Jeff Gray, who retired earlier this year as a city police officer.
