Circuit Clerk Pleased With Electronic Tickets Program

For over eight months, the Bond County Circuit Court has been using the electronic ticket program, resulting in police officers issuing traffic law violators a printed copy of their citation. Ticket information is received by the circuit clerk’s office through the computer.

Circuit Clerk Rex Catron said overall the program has gone well. He noted that Bond County remains the only county in the state using the program.

Catron said he would also like to get the smaller police departments in the county to use it.
