Greenville High School To Present “Peter Pan” As Spring Musical

Peter Pan is coming to Greenville High School.

Rehearsals are underway for this spring’s musical at Greenville High School.

Musical Director Shawn Cox said the cast includes 35 students. That number does not include the orchestra and backstage workers. Students will be “flying” again this year as part of the production. Cox said they used equipment to make one student fly last year, and this year four will be flying at a time.

Cox said the students are excited about the production. This will be the same script as was used in the production featuring Mary Martin. He said he’s looking forward to staging the roughhousing scenes with the Lost Boys and the battle scenes with the pirates and Indians. Cox said the show will be family friendly.
