Salvation Army Campaign Generates Over $22K

The local Salvation Army campaign raised over $22,000 over the holiday season.

Wayne Pierce, chairman of the effort, told WGEL a total of $22,219 was placed in three red kettles stationed around Greenville. Pierce expressed his thanks to everyone who donated and to all who manned a red kettle and rang the bells.

Funds raised through the red kettle program are used to assist families in need in Bond County. Contributions can still be sent to Frank Joy’s attention at Bradford National Bank, 100 East College Avenue, in Greenville.
