The Greenville Educational Support Personnel Association and Bond County Community Unit 2 Board of Education have reached an agreement on a new one-year contract for support staff in the district.
The board approved the contract at its January meeting.
Superintendent Wes Olson told WGEL the bargaining session was, “really pretty straightforward.” He said there were some language changes and some clauses that members wanted to modify. Olson said support staff members are an important part of what goes on in the district and they are very much valued by the board.
