Bond County Fair Queen Kayley Woker will be competing January 14th through January 17th in the Miss Illinois County Fairs Pageant at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Springfield.
Queen Woker will be one of 70 young women in the pageant.
She told WGEL she’s been involved in many events during her time as queen. She said the Bicentennial celebration in September was one of the most fun events. She has enjoyed visiting with people throughout the community alongside Bond County Junior Miss Brianna Ulmer.

Queen Woker said she is preparing for the state pageant and will begin orientation later this week. She will compete as Contestant No. 5 on Saturday. She is most looking forward to delivering her speech, which tells the story of her involvement in agriculture.

Woker will be interviewed by the judges on Friday morning. Sunday evening she and the other contestants will perform a dance number.
Several of Woker’s family members and friends will attend the state pageant. She will be accompanied by Brooke Earnest, Bond County Fair pageant director, and Judy Debatin, secretary of the Bond County Fair Association.
