GC Factory Theatre To Present “The Fantasticks”


Greenville College’s Factory Theatre will present “The Fantasticks” Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 5 through 7, and again the following weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 12 through 14. Friday and Saturday performances start at 7:30 p.m. with seating available at 7:00. Sunday performances begin at 2:30 p.m. with seating available at 2:00.

“The Fantasticks” is one of the longest running musicals in America. Jes Adam, the Executive and Artistic Director of the Factory Theatre, told WGEL the Factory Theatre produced “The Fantasticks” in 1986 and he’s excited to bring it back to Greenville:

The show’s cast consists of community members as well as Greenville College students. Adam said the plot centers around two men staging a feud in an attempt to drive their children to fall in love with each other.

Tickets to the Factory Theatre’s production of “The Fantasticks” are $10 and can be purchased at Watson’s Health Mart Drug Store, Jo’s Java, and the Adam Brothers Music & Coffeehouse.
