Greenville High School Students Celebrating National FFA Week

The Greenville High School FFA chapter is celebrating FFA week.

Chapter Advisor Steve Zimmerman told WGEL the group would continue the tradition of attending church with the chapter president. This year, they attended Tamalco Christian Church and went out to lunch together.

Several “dress-up days” will be held throughout the week. Monday is Ag Cap & Shirt Day and Tuesday is official dress day. Also on Tuesday, the FFA will host an appreciation luncheon for district staff and faculty. That evening, the FFA will host their annual work auction. Wednesday is Camo Day. On Thursday, FFA students will host preschoolers and children from area daycare centers for their Barnyard Zoo. Friday is Tractor Day, where some FFA participants will drive their tractors to school. Friday is also “Battle of the Brands” day. Students will show their allegiance to a particular tractor brand that day. Friday is also Ag Olympics Day.
