Greenville Police Department January Activity Report


In the Greenville Police Department January activity report, officers responded to one battery case, one residential burglary, one theft of items valued at more than $500.00, and investigated two reports of criminal damage to property. There were two offenses involving juveniles.

Police issued citations for four uninsured motorist violations, one for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, one for illegal transportation or possession of alcohol, eight driver’s license violations, and wrote three speeding tickets.

They made 25 traffic arrests and ten criminal arrests.

Officers responded to six traffic accidents one with injuries.

Firefighters from local fire districts responded to 90 fire calls.
