Library Board Hires Part-Time Librarian, Looks Ahead To Spring Historical Program

The Greenville Library Board met last week and hired Greenville College student Kennedy Frohawk as a part-time librarian. She will work weekends through the rest of the college semester.

Library Director Mike Westbrooks said the board set its meetings for the second Thursday of each month at 4 p.m.

Plans are underway for the library’s spring historical program. It has been a fundraiser for the summer reading programs, which will once again be offered. They include the Ice Cream For Kids, and adult reading programs, and the special Wednesday afternoon programs.

Westbrooks said the final inspection of the new roof on the library is still to be completed.
