2016 Easter Egg Hunt List

Below you will find the list of Easter egg hunts throughout the WGEL listening area that we have been informed of. If your church or organization is hosting an Easter egg hunt that you would like listed, please email the information to ryan@wgel.com.

Helia Healthcare is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt Friday, March 25. The fun begins at 2:00 p.m. with the egg hunt starting at 2:30. There will be games, refreshments, and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Bring the kids to see the Crayola Bunny Saturday, March 26, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., in Watson’s Health Mart Drug Store in downtown Greenville. There will be free gifts and get a souvenir picture of the kids with the Crayola Bunny for a $2.00 donation to the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation.

The Greenville Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Patriot’s Park. Age groups are toddlers through age 2, and ages 3 through 5, 6 and 7, and 8 and 9. The event is sponsored by the Greenville Optimist Club and the Greenville Commercial Club.

The Sorento Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. in South Park, at the intersection of Cemetery Road and West Street. Boys and girls, infant through age 12, are invited to participate.

The Donnellson Easter egg hunt will be Saturday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Community Center.

The Panama Easter egg hunt takes place Saturday, March 26 at the VFW Hall at 2:00 p.m.

The annual PCO Community Egg Hunt will be held in Pocahontas at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26 in Gretchen Wilson Park. Age groups are infant through 2, 3 through 5, 6 through 8, and 9 and 10.

The Gilham Lodge 809 Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 26th at 1:00 p.m. in Mulberry Grove. It will be held on the north side of the Mulberry Grove School.

The Mulberry Grove First Church of Christ is hosting an Easter egg hunt Saturday, March 26, at 10:00 a.m. There will be an assortment of prizes and treats. The hunt is for children ages toddler – 10 years divided into age appropriate groups. For more information, call Pastor Randy at 339-7436.

The Wisetown Baptist Church invites you to Easter services Sunday, March 27, with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:30. There will be an Easter Egg hunt following the morning worship for children through 6th grade.

The Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Grantfork United Church of Christ will be held Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. at the church.

Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra will have an Easter egg hunt Saturday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Each participant is asked to bring an item for the food pantry. Following the hunt there will be donuts, muffins and fruit served. The hunt is for children ages newborn through fifth grade.

The Gilbert Hosto Memorial Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Alhambra Jaycees, Community Club, and Village Board, will be Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. on the east side of the Alhambra Township Park, behind the dance hall. The hunt is for kids ages newborn to fifth grade.

The Alhambra Jaycees Glow-in-The-Dark Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, March 26 at 8:30 p.m. at the Alhambra Township Park baseball diamonds. The hunt is for children ages newborn through fifth grade.

The Highland VFW Post 5694 annual Easter egg hunt and kite flying contest begins at 1:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday, March 27. The event is open to the public and will be held regardless of the weather. The hunt is open to children ages 1 – 10.
