At the request of NewWave Communications, the Greenville City Council has extended the current cable television agreement to May 31st.
City Manager Dave Willey said NewWave’s attorney is reviewing the agreement submitted by the city. He said when the original agreement was written, NewWave only offered cable TV. Now they offer cable TV as well as internet and telephone services. Given those changes, the city re-wrote the agreement to encompass the additional services.
