Organizers of the 2016 Greenville Regional Hospital Health Fair say the event was a huge success Friday at a new location, the Greenville First Christian Church.
Brian Nall, hospital CEO and president, said the most popular health fair offering were the low-cost blood tests.
At least 1,300 people had the tests conducted during the event.
Many other blood tests were taken for members of the community before health fair day.
Jeff Leidel talked with Nall who was very pleased with the move to the Christian Church. He said there was more parking than there has been in the past.

Nall said there was also a special guest at the health fair, Sonya Jones, well known as a former contestant on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser”. Jones, a Greenville College alum, now works with HSHS, who had a booth at the Health Fair. Greenville Regional Hospital will affiliate with HSHS in May.
