The Mulberry Grove Board of Education met Monday. Superintendent Brad Turner reported the district received the second categorical state aid payment for transportation and special education. Fund balances currently look good and Turner said he is hoping for at least one more state payment this year.
The board approved the renewal agreement with the IHSA. They set junior high promotion for Saturday, May 21, at 11:00 a.m., in the high school gym.
Following a closed session, the board accepted a letter of retirement from John Paine effective at the end of this school year.
