Tuesday, March 29th has been proclaimed as Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran’s Day in Greenville.
A ceremony was held Thursday in the Greenville Municipal Building. The Benjamin Mills Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has joined in the national effort to honor Vietnam veterans.
Greenville Mayor Alan Gaffner has issued a proclamation for the special day.

The Vietnam War was from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975. Several Vietnam War veterans, living in Bond County, attended Thursday’s event.
