The Bond County Board had urged the public to attend their meeting Tuesday evening to share concerns over the state budget crisis.
Representatives of the Bond County Unit 1 School District, the City of Greenville, the Regional Office of Education, and numerous county departments attended and shared their concerns over the impact of the lack of a state budget.
Chairman Elmore told WGEL the board urges all county residents to contact local and state lawmakers and impress upon them the importance of passing a budget.
