County Clerk Thanks Residents For Good Turnout, Advises Non-Registered Voters Of Pending Contacts

According to Bond County Clerk Randy Reitz, the General Primary election March 15 was very successful. All procedures went smoothly and the number of people voting was almost 2-1/2 times as many as voted in the last presidential primary. Reitz thanks the voters for their participation and for helping make the General Primary successful.

Reitz is also advising county residents an organization called the Voter Participation Center or VPC believes there are still a large number of non-registered people in Illinois. They will soon mail more than four million voter registration forms to non-registered individuals. Reitz said this effort is not affiliated with his office and for more information you should call 202-659-9570.
