Over 200 students from Greenville High School participated in the 4th annual give back day on Friday.
Students were in Greenville, Pocahontas and Sorento, participating in community service projects.
The largest crew of students was at the Bond County Fairgrounds. Senior Taylor Steele told WGEL that the community has done a lot for all GHS students, so the students were giving back to the community.
Taylor said students were randomly assigned to their work locations. Those at the fairgrounds cleaned up the grounds, mostly by picking up gumballs.

Other groups worked at the schools, Montrose Cemetery, Patriot’s Park, and Buzzard Bay. After the work, students were treated to pizza, courtesy of the GHS Character Education Program organization.
