Greenville Police Department March Report


The March report from the Greenville Police Department shows one crime of battery, one theft of items valued at less than $500.00, and one case of forgery.

There was one incident of criminal trespass, four offenses involving juveniles, six cases of possession or delivery of illegal drugs, and one case of illegal possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Officers issued 14 citations for uninsured motorists, one for illegal transportation or possession of alcohol, 17 driver’s license infractions, three seat belt violations, and ten speeding tickets.

Police made 49 traffic arrests, 31 criminal arrests, and responded to three traffic accidents, one with injuries.

Local fire protection districts had 74 calls in March.
