NSDAR Recognizes Vietnam War Vets In Mulberry Grove

On Saturday, April 9, Lisa Stephens, Vice-Regent and District VI Officer of the Benjamin Mills Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) presented a Vietnam War Period Commemoration Program at the Mulberry Grove American Legion Post 1180. She presented each Vietnam War veteran with a bronze pin. In conjunction with the program, Stephens presented a Presidential and Congressional Proclamation to Commander Charlie Bone.

The Benjamin Mills Chapter is a Commemorative Partner with the U.S. Dept. Of Defense. Through this partnership, they are reaching out to area Vietnam Veterans in order to recognize and honor them, and their supporting families, and to express their gratitude to them from a Grateful Nation for their Service during the Vietnam War Period.
