Weather Spotter Class In Greenville Monday

The National Weather Service, through the Bond County Emergency Disaster Agency, is offering a weather spotter seminar in Greenville Monday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 104 of Snyder Hall on the Greenville College campus.

The seminar is open to the public with no charge.

Allan Davis, Bond County ESDA coordinator, said the seminar, led by Jim Kramper of the National Weather Service, will last about two hours. Attendees will be made an official weather spotter upon completion of the class.

Davis said examples of various weather conditions will be discussed, using a power point presentation.

Those wanting to attend do not have to register. Just show up at Greenville College’s Snyder Hall, Room 104, at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
