Economic Development Director Leaving

Greenville Economic Development Director Adam Stroud at a recent Chamber of Commerce event.

Adam Stroud is leaving his position as Greenville economic development director on May 20th.

He and his wife, Monique, will be moving to St. Louis.

Greenville City Manager Dave Willey said he is sorry to see Stroud leaving. He said Stroud has done a fine job for the city and has been “working on projects relentlessly, trying to attract various things to the City of Greenville.”

Stroud will be working for PGAV Destinations, an architecture, design and planning firm.

City Manager Willey said a decision has not officially been made, but he suspects a replacement will be selected to fill the opening left by Stroud.
