At the May 10 Greenville City Council meeting, residential and commercial trash bid proposal rates were presented.
For residential trash and recycling, the fully automated service proposed rate is $14.78 per month and the non-automated proposed rate is $16.13 per month. The current rate is $12.00 per month.
The city council is deliberating about the trash contract. Residents are encouraged to provide feedback regarding their preference for either fully automated or non-automated service prior to May 24. Call the city office at 664-1644.
