Greenville Water Line Project

The Greenville City Council has approved a bid for the installation of a water main in an alley between Vine and Winter avenues from Charles Street, west to Locust Street.

City Manager Dave Willey said the project started with a pressure complaint from a few residents. He said upon investigating, the city determined that the water service for those residents was actually coming from three or four blocks away. A new main will be put in that will service 11 houses.
