The Greenville City Council has approved a street improvement program for this summer.
Rooters Asphalt of Beckemeyer was awarded the contract with the low bid of $250,810.
City Manager Dave Willey said there are seven sections of roads that will be addressed, including Eagle Drive, Buchheit Drive, 3rd Street, Franklin Avenue, and South Street. This work is being done in addition to the city’s usual oil and chip program.
