The Kingsbury Park District has many activities available to area residents this weekend.
Kayla Curry, recreation programmer, told us the first Friday and Saturday family campout at Patriot’s Park will be Friday, June 3. Families will need to bring a tent, flashlights, sleeping bags, fishing poles, and any other camping equipment they’d like. KPD will provide a campfire, dinner, s ’mores, crafts, a movie, and breakfasts.
Check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for district residents and $15 for out-of-district residents.

Registration is 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the lake pavilion. Youths should bring their own fishing equipment and at least one parent will be needed for every five registered participants.
Saturday night, June 4, the fun continues at the park district swimming pool with a family game night. The event will be at the pool and will involve friendly competition within families, or between families.
Game night is $6 per person, which includes admission to the pool’s Dive In Movie that night, which is “The Peanuts”.
