Robison Named Farm Credit Agriculture Scholar

Lauren Robison, of Mulberry Grove, was recognized as one of 24 members of the Class of 2016 Farm Credit Agriculture Scholars at a scholarship luncheon at Farm Credit Illinois in Mahomet Thursday, June 2.

Each scholar receives $1,500 from Farm Credit to use towards their agriculture-related college education. Recipients were selected from 170 applicants throughout central and southern Illinois by a panel of judges in the agriculture industry.

This fall Robison will attend Kaskaskia College to study agriculture business with plans to work in agricultural finance and lending. She is the daughter of Kevin and Emily Hartmann.
