Shirley A. Wise, age 85 of Highland, IL, died Friday, June 24, 2016, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Saint Louis, MO.
She was born on Monday, January 19, 1931, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Alfred and Clara (nee Blum) Dubach.
On Friday, April 14, 1950, she married Loyd John Wise at Highland, IL.
She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, IL; the Quilters, Chancel Choir and Honorary Member of the Women’s Guild all at EvUCC; VFW Ladies Auxiliary; former member of the BPW of Highland.
She was born at Highland, IL and a 1948 graduate of Highland High School. She worked for Basler Electric from 1948 to 1961. She then stayed home to rear her children. Later she worked for and retired from Artex International as an assistant controller. She was a dedicated volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland. She enjoyed travelling; she and her husband camped all over the USA. She loved her time with her family.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland, IL.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Evangelical United Church of Christ, with Rev. Christopher W. Hill, Senior Pastor, officiating.
Private Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
