A 2001 pickup truck caught fire Wednesday morning in a field of wheat stubble being cut along Red Ball Trail, north of Greenville.
Greenville Fire Protection District firefighters were called at 10:18 a.m.
The truck caught fire while parked in the field. It was a total loss. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
Only a small area of wheat stubble around the truck burned. Firemen were at the scene approximately 30 minutes.
