29 people from St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Greenville have been in Montana this week on a mission trip.
Randy Alderman, a chaperone for the group, told WGEL they’re conducting home repair work on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.

The local group left Greenville Sunday morning and began work on Monday afternoon.
Alderman said St. Lawrence Church has a long history of being involved in the work camp program. He has personally been involved in the project for 11 years and he believes the church has been involved for 18 years. He said it is a great experience for the youth.

The Greenville group travelled with a contingent from St. Mary’s Church in Taylorville. Of the almost 55 persons on the trip, eight are chaperones and the rest are youth workers.
